ELTA Automotive is a leading aftermarket distributor with more than 3.5 million bulbs in stock. From the smallest tachograph light to advanced xenon HID headlamps and innovative halogen upgrades, we have the right bulb for every application.
Our range includes over 600 part numbers covering cars, motorcycles, and light to heavy-duty commercial vehicles. All manufactured to the highest standards from premium materials for consistent performance and long-term reliability.
We also supply eye-catching retail bulbs and trade packs plus point-of-sale displays that help factors and retailers boost sales and visibility, while our performance-focused upgrade bulbs deliver brighter, whiter light for drivers seeking improved safety and style.
With 30 years of continuous development, ELTA’s automotive bulb programme stays at the forefront of lighting technology while maintaining broad coverage for classic vehicles, making us the preferred partner for both aftermarket and OE dealers worldwide.
All ELTA bulbs carry the relevant E-mark, proving compliance with ECE Regulation 37. This standard covers light output, filament geometry, voltage, wattage, size, and bulb shape. The number after the “E” shows where approval was granted.
VisionPRO Halogen bulbs are E-marked in Germany (E1), known for its strict quality standards. Other ELTA bulbs are usually approved in the UK (E11) or the Netherlands (E4)—both equally respected.
Easy Data Access

Proven Performance
Every product delivers original-equipment performance with outstanding reliability. We test each bulb throughout manufacturing and beyond to ensure consistent quality.
Light Flux
ELTA measures light flux, colour temperature, and luminous intensity in-house using state-of-the-art Labsphere equipment.
Life Testing
Technicians run every bulb through life-cycle tests on advanced rigs to confirm longevity and reliability. Bulbs are switched on and off repeatedly, and twin-filament models are cycled through both filaments to mirror real-world use.
Geometric Measurement
To ensure a perfect beam pattern, technicians check every dimension and filament position with precision shadowgraph projection equipment.
Chromaticity
For coloured bulbs, ELTA verifies chromaticity so each light stays within the required colour range. This is critical for amber bulbs, which must meet specific colour coordinates.
Vibration and Shock
In use, the bulbs will also be subject to vibration and shock and so this is also simulated at the test facility. This is an especially important test for heavy duty and long-life bulbs.
